SpinLok™ Ball Mount System
Competitors attach ball mounts to 4-bolt and 2-bolt base plates using a single stud - prone to spinning itself loose. Mountech's innovative SpinLok™ system features a pair of locking pins that interface with our optional base plates or directly with Dash Mounts and eliminate that risk.
1" Ball and Socket Interface
Two ball sizes are standard for phone mounts - 1in (25mm) and 20mm. Smaller ball mounts are less expensive to produce but offer 27% less mechanical advantage, leading to reduced stability and capacity. Rubber coated ball mounts of any size suffer delimitation with use and heat.
